Understanding how the outcome of each game round is determined is essential for every player. This page clarifies the processes behind result generation, the oversight involved, and the meaning of published figures. You'll find details on the mechanisms at play, and it will explain what steps we take if a round does not align with your expectations.
We aim to present factual information rather than ask for your trust. Each part of this explanation can be verified by looking at the game information panel and the certification available on our site. We encourage you to take your time and explore these resources for greater clarity.
The outcome of each round at BetMGM Casino is determined by a random number generator (RNG). This RNG activates the moment a round begins and operates within the game software provided by its studio, without control from us. Each round is independent, meaning it resolves based solely on its own parameters, with no influence from previous rounds. The result is fixed before any visuals are displayed on the screen, which means animations reflect a decision already made. Thus, experiencing a losing streak or a winning streak is a normal aspect of independent rounds and does not predict future outcomes.
Games at BetMGM Casino undergo rigorous testing by independent laboratories before they are made available in our lobby. Each game is assessed to ensure that the Random Number Generator (RNG) produces the distribution it claims. Any game that does not pass this test is not published. Moreover, testing does not stop once the game is live. We continue to monitor the performance of each live game to verify that it aligns with the expected return. Current certifications can be found on our site, where you can view the credentials of our testing partners and the standards they uphold. This ongoing scrutiny is part of our commitment to responsible gaming practices.
RTP, or Return to Player, indicates how much a game returns over an extensive number of rounds played across all players. It does not reflect the return for an individual player during a single session. The percentage is a characteristic set by the game studio and is not something we adjust. In a brief session, results can vary significantly, either above or below the stated figure. You can find the RTP percentage displayed in the game information panel of each title at BetMGM Casino. Remember that while a game with a higher RTP might enhance long-term averages, it does not increase the chances of winning in any specific session.
The difference in how two games with the same RTP can feel entirely distinct is largely due to volatility. This rating indicates the risk associated with a game. A low volatility game pays out smaller amounts more frequently, while a high volatility game delivers larger wins less often. Neither option represents better value since RTP dictates the long-term average payout. Instead, players typically choose games based on their session length and personal preferences. You can find the volatility ratings clearly displayed in our lobby, allowing you to make informed decisions about your play style without any need to analyze past outcomes.
In our live casino games, you will see the cards, wheel, or dice clearly displayed on camera. Each round is dealt once for all players at the table, ensuring a communal gameplay experience. The studios we collaborate with operate under strict licensing and adhere to published table rules, which are available for you to read before joining a game. Additionally, every round is recorded for transparency, allowing it to be reviewed later if needed. It’s advisable to familiarize yourself with the specific table rules and payout structures associated with the games you choose to play, ensuring you understand how everything works at BetMGM Casino.
Before committing any money, players at BetMGM Casino can review the rules panel and paytable located within every game. These resources detail the payout for each combination and explain how bonus rounds are triggered, providing transparency before any bets are placed. You can easily access the rules panel in the game window, ensuring you're fully informed about the gameplay mechanics.
It's important to note that the rules of a round cannot change once it has begun. If a game is updated or modified by its studio, it will be released as a new version, which undergoes testing to meet our standards before going live. This approach maintains a consistent and fair gaming environment.
Game outcomes at BetMGM Casino are determined by a tested build that operates on the studio's side. Once a round has started, we cannot change its outcome. Each player's result is independent; we cannot set a different result for one player compared to another. Similarly, the return of a game cannot be adjusted based on an individual player's deposits or winnings.
We cannot view a game's result before it is revealed to the player. Any modifications to the game would require extensive testing and certification again to ensure compliance and fairness. This structure helps maintain transparency and fairness for all players at BetMGM Casino.
When a player disputes a result, each round's details, including stakes, outcomes, and timestamps, are logged. Our team can access this log to review the sequence of events. If a round is interrupted due to a dropped connection, it will be restored or refunded according to game rules. If we cannot resolve a disagreement, players have the option to take the matter to an independent body specified in our terms. To report a dispute, please provide us with the game name, the approximate time of the round, and what appeared on your screen. For more information on how to contact us, please refer to our contact page, which outlines available channels.
